Formerly the home of Blake's Bakery in West Seattle, a bakery with the best baguettes I have ever had. The crust is wonderful and fresh out of the oven you don't even need any butter. There are a variety of delightful treats.
Chef Leaman and fellow team members Jory Downer and Jeffery Yankellow beat the French at an international baguette competition. Chef Leaman won the coveted "CHAMPION DU MONDE de la BOULANGERIE" in 2005. This is a rare honor as the competition is held once every three years.
